Laški rizling

The most widespread white variety in our homeland, receives the same level of attention at Ducal as the previously described noble varieties. The wines are complex, yet thanks to their saline minerality and juicy acidity, they are characterized by a pleasant freshness. Depending on the vintage, we may detect more or less botrytis, sometimes even petrol notes, spiciness, or herbal tones. In terms of fruit, the palate is delighted by ripe apples, pears, apricots, and occasionally some tropical fruit. The aftertaste is always pleasant and long-lasting.
